Burton Addiction and O'Connor Centre is an award winning organisation which offers support to individuals with drug and alcohol problems. We are working in partnership with We are With You as part of the Stoke Community Drug and Alcohol Services (CDAS).

We are proud to employ teams of staff and provide opportunities to volunteers who strive to make a positive difference to people with substance misuse addiction by developing and supporting them to achieve their dreams, outcomes and aspirations.

This role provides support to service users that meets their needs through their individual recovery journey and to their families and carers. In order to be successful you will use your ability to motivate, challenge and empower individuals to achieve meaningful, sustainable recovery goals.

The successful applicant will:

· Utilise case managements skills to provide coordination of interventions and activities to empower the recovery of individuals accessing Stoke on Trent Community Drug and Alcohol Service. This will include clinical treatment and wider health and social care support.

· Deliver interventions to motivate Service Users to achieve their person centered goals with a focus on achieving sustained recovery within the community in a group or one to one setting.

· Proactively engage and support families and carers in Service Users recovery journeys.

· Work collaboratively with external partner agencies to provide support to Service Users that meets their needs through all stages of their individual recovery journey

· Work in a strengths- based, outcome focused approach to promote Service Users and Communities to take responsibility for health, wellbeing and recovery.
