**About the role**:
**Join our team as a Recovery Worker in Stoke-on-Trent.**

**Are you a compassionate and motivated individual who wants to change people’s lives? Our team in Stoke-on-Trent**is looking for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. **As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.**

**As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.**Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients**to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You’ll work**with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery.**

**This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they’re always treated with respect and dignity.**You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your development and your ability to deliver the best care you can to our clients.**

**This role is full time and fixed term until 31st March 2026. The salary for this position is circa £25,000 per annum. The position involves some Saturday and late night**working** on a rota basis.**

**Essential Skills**:
**We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. You will have demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for wanting to work in the drug and alcohol sector. A successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service is essential.**

**You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. You will also have a p**roven ability to carry out comprehensive assessments, assess risk, devise care plans and deliver evidence based interventions.**
