Duties

  • Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling, tailored to meet individual client needs.
  • Perform makeup application services as required, enhancing clients' overall look.
  • Upsell additional services and products to clients, promoting salon offerings effectively.
  • Assist in the management of the store environment, ensuring cleanliness and organisation at all times.
  • Mentor junior stylists, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate client records and appointments at the front desk, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, and beauty treatments, including eyelash extensions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
  • Proficiency in various hair techniques including cutting, colouring, barbering, and styling.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Experience in makeup application is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining a positive client experience.
  • Previous experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous.
  • A passion for mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in hairdressing or beauty therapy are essential.
