Cluster Finance Controller

Millennium Hotels are looking for a Cluster Finance Controller who will be looking after the Copthorne Gatwick and Copthorne Effingham Park Hotels. You will have total autonomy of the financial reporting including the P&L Account, payroll, Supplier payments, aged debt and total control of all the financial processes across both sites. Proven experience of creating annual budgets and forecasts is key.

As Cluster Finance Controller you will be involved with planning & forecasting, alongside the General Manager and hotel teams. You will work closely with the centralised finance functions ensuring the data is correct for Payroll, AP & AR.

Cluster Finance Controller will be:

  • Experience Finance Controller in a larger hotel or a cluster role
  • Natural aptitude for learning new systems
  • Able to ensure all revenue procedures are in place and followed, regular audits done in all departments to ensure compliance.
  • Safeguard the assets of the hotel with particular emphasis on the maintenance of sound internal control systems.
  • Analysing KPIs, benchmarking and reviewing financial reports with a view to optimise the business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • The ability and confidence to work closely with senior managements and HOD's to resolve issues and queries
  • Have previous experience of managing the whole accounting process within the hospitality/hotel industry - would be advantages
