Summary
We are looking for someone to work in our usually busy purchasing office, who is driven with a good attention to detail and a good telephone manner
The successful candidate will be part of our purchasing team, you will need strong communication skills and be able to manage the data entry and processing of several data sets. You will also be responsible for general office duties, such as answering emails, answering the telephone and producing month end reports. In turn this means you will be dealing with internal and external queries, speaking to a wide range of companies and other departments.
This means that our ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
The role will also include:
- Tracking orders
- Handling delivery delays and relaying details to internal management
- Liaise with suppliers when low stock levels have been identified and maintain accurate records on our internal database
- Ascertain and advise suppliers on non-conforming lengths
- General office duties
It would be beneficial to have experience in a similar field, however it is not necessary as full training is included
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,500.00 per year
