```Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and caring Activities Support worker for SEND Children to join our team. As a Activities support worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Duties:

- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children

- Plan and implement fun, enjoyable and aspirational activities with their peers.

- Supervise children during playtime and meals.

- Assist with basic personal care tasks, if necessary.

- Monitor children for any signs of distress or illness

- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

- Follow all health and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children preferred

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children

- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with calmness

- Able to deal with challenging behaviours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week

  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • children with SEND needs: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Level 3 qualification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
