Aspiring SEND Teacher - What the School is Looking For
The ideal Aspiring SEND Teacher will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university and bring an empathetic, proactive and patient approach to supporting young people. Previous child-centred experience is highly valuable, particularly within SEND environments. Strong communication, resilience and a genuine commitment to learning are essential.

Aspiring SEND Teacher - Salary and Contract Info

  • £444 per week, pro rata to term time only
  • Up to £600 per week for more advanced responsibilities
  • Full-time, long-term contract (January–July), term-time only
  • Potential for future teacher training or an extended contract
