Cleaner – Part time

Location: St Mary's Playschool, Great Baddow

Time: 2 ½ hours per day - Early mornings

6.00 – 8.30am (5.30 – 8.00) must be completed by 8.30 am (Flexible time as keyholder position) (although some evenings are possible instead)

Monday – Friday (term time)

Weekday Mornings 12.5 hours per week Overview

We are seeking a reliable for our playschool – General cleaning within the setting, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning of toilets and ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy and presentable. This role requires the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a good standard within designated timeframes
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
