AirX Jet Support is a UK CAA and EASA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation with approval to provide Line & Base Maintenance services on our parent company fleet of CL-600, EMB-135 and ERJ-190 series aircraft. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a Stores Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient day-to-day management and control of all spares, materials, tools, and equipment within the MRO stores in accordance with Part 145 regulations and company procedures.

This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is based at the London Stansted Diamond Hangar facility working a Monday to Friday day shift pattern.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure all stores operations comply with Part 145

    and company MOE requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity of the quarantine, bonded, serviceable and unserviceable stores areas in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Ensure that traceability and certification documentation are verified and retained correctly.
  • Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions plans.
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the stores team, ensuring effective control of goods receipt, storage, issue and dispatch.
  • Ensure correct identification, labelling and segregation of all materials and components.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in the MRO user system.
  • Conduct and reconcile stock audits

    to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee the control and calibration of tooling and GSE, ensuring compliance with calibration schedules.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring customs and shipping documentation are accurate and compliant.
  • Coordinate with procurement, planning and production departments to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
  • Monitor shelf-life items and ensure timely disposal or renewal of expired materials.
  • Arrange and monitor AOG and routine part shipments.
  • Supervise, train and develop stores personnel to ensure competence and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure adherence to company procedures.
  • Ensure that all stores operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order within the stores area in line with 5S and safety standards.
  • Deputise for the Operations Support Manager during periods of absence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in aviation stores or logistics, preferably within a Part 145 MRO environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK CAA and

EASA regulations, airworthiness documentation and traceability requirements.
- Experience in the use of Veryon or other MRO user systems.
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Dangerous goods awareness qualification.
- Knowledge of import/export and customs processes.
- Forklift operators qualification.
- Manual handling qualification.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must have legal authorisation and the right to work in the UK.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance and hold an airside ID pass.
