About the Role:

As Director of Data & Analytics, you'll lead the group's data strategy, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. You'll be the voice of data in the business, driving innovation, building a high-performing team, and leveraging insights to fuel growth.

You'll Own:

  • Data Strategy:
    Define and deliver a roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Team Leadership:
    Build and inspire a large team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers
  • Innovation:
    Champion AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to unlock new opportunities
  • Data Governance:
    Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all data assets
  • Performance:
    Establish KPIs to measure impact and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaboration:
    Partner with leaders across the organisation to embed data-driven decision-making

What You Need To Know:

    Circa £110K + bonus

    Head Office – One City Place, Chester (Hybrid)

You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in senior leadership/director-level roles within Data & Analytics
  • Success in building and scaling high-performing teams (50+ people)
  • Expertise in BI, data science, and analytics in fast-paced, scaling businesses
  • Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to influence at all levels
  • Bonus: Experience in travel & hospitality and private equity-backed businesses
