Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, hard working Barista to join our small team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
  • Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times.
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the role.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
  • Experience in serving customers and handling cash transactions is preferred.
  • Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
  • Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in hospitality while providing excellent service to our valued customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
