We are looking to recruit a Night Vet to join the dedicated OOH/ ECC team at a small animal veterinary hospital on the stunning island of JERSEY in the Channel Islands.

  • you will be working nights on a popular 7 nights on then 14 nights off rota.
  • practice is RCVS accredited and fully equipped with state of the art, up to date facilities, equipment and technologies including; CT, digital X-rays, video endoscopes, blood analysers etc
  • ideally you will be an experienced Vet with previous ECC experience and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • you will be responsible for inpatient care, seeing emergency consultations and carrying out emergency procedures including surgery and medical workups.
  • great development opportunity with opportunities for further education and funding for certificates available
  • join a fantastic, experienced and supportive hospital team of 25 Veterinary Surgeons
  • stunning Channel Islands location of Jersey you will enjoy beautiful scenery and beaches, there are excellent transport links to mainland UK and there is lower taxation on your pay.
  • Accommodation is available for you.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Experienced Vet
  • previous ECC experience.
