Are you a motivated childcare professional ready to step up?

We're looking for a passionate, dedicated Deputy Manager to join our growing nursery — and we warmly welcome applications from strong Senior Practitioners or experienced Room Leaders who are ready to progress into management.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who's already making a difference in their room and now wants to shape the nursery at a leadership level. With clear support and mentoring, this role offers a pathway to Nursery Manager for the right candidate.

As our Deputy Manager, you'll:

  • Support the Nursery Manager in leading daily operations and ensuring outstanding practice across the setting.
  • Be a role model to staff — coaching, mentoring, and inspiring them to deliver excellent care and learning.
  • Take lead responsibility in the Manager's absence, ensuring smooth running and compliance at all times.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, safeguarding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and the wider community.

You'll be developed and supported to step confidently into a Manager position as part of our leadership succession plan.

Pay: £27,358.24-£35,360.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
