The Feathers is a beautifully restored luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Woodstock, just moments from Blenheim Palace. Our Housekeeping team plays a crucial role in delivering the immaculate, refined environment our guests expect, ensuring every detail is perfect, every room pristine, and every stay memorable.

The Role

We're looking for a dependable, detail-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our Housekeeping department. You'll oversee daily operations, support and motivate the team, and ensure our exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest readiness are consistently maintained.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), working primarily mornings and early afternoons. You'll need to be available to work some or most weekends, as well as key dates during the festive period, including Christmas Day and New Year's Eve and Day.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Housekeeping team in day-to-day operations.
• Inspect bedrooms, suites, and public areas to luxury-level standards.
• Train, coach, and motivate the team to deliver meticulous attention to detail.
• Assist with cleaning rooms, deep cleans, and laundry duties when required.
• Manage stock levels and coordinate effectively with Reception and Maintenance.
• Organise team rotas and ensure smooth running of daily workload.
• Prepare the hotel for guest arrivals, special requests, events, and festive occupancy peaks.

What We're Looking For

• Housekeeping experience within a hotel or quality hospitality environment.
• Supervisory experience preferred, but strong leadership potential is welcomed.
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• A positive, supportive, hands-on leadership style.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work mornings and most weekends, plus festive peak dates. You must be able to work Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day 2025.

• (£14 base rate. Approx. £1.80 per hour service charge. Average service charge correct as of Nov 2025 using past 6 months data)
