Job Overview

Are you a technically minded problem-solver who enjoys helping people and getting hands-on with IT systems? We're looking for a IT Support Technician to join our growing team and deliver high-quality support to our clients across a range of technologies.

In this role, you'll provide technical assistance via phone, remote access, and onsite visits—ensuring our clients' IT systems run smoothly and securely. From troubleshooting Windows devices and managing Microsoft 365 to configuring network equipment, you'll play a key role in delivering fast, friendly, and professional IT support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support to clients via phone, remote tools, and onsite visits.
  • Log all support activity accurately in the helpdesk system, documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain a range of IT hardware and software.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure all IT equipment and services remain fully operational.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers and contractors as needed to resolve issues or implement solutions.
  • Assess client IT needs and recommend, source, or procure suitable hardware and services.
  • Use internal IT tools for communication, documentation, and task tracking.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely resolution of issues.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and support.
  • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and common business applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident when dealing with clients.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
  • Highly organised with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with backup solutions, antivirus, and remote monitoring tools.

Requirements

  • Full UK driver's licence.
  • Pass a security background check.
  • Live locally, this is an office-based role.
