London, Greater London, United Kingdom Eightfold AI Full time £80,000 - £120,000 per year

Join Eightfold.AI's Solution Readiness & Success (SRS) team as an Enhancement Solution Architect and become the critical link between customer success and product innovation. As part of our broader Customer Experience organisation, this highly technical and strategic role is centred around the pre- and post-implementation journey of our customer base, driving both customer adoption and our overall product maturity.

You will be uniquely positioned to understand how customers use our platform in the real world, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and assess enhancement opportunities that improve adoption and close product gaps. Your core mission is to channel these customer-driven insights into compelling, scalable architectural proposals that directly influence our product roadmap. Leveraging your expertise in API integrations, data modelling, and enterprise solution design, you will translate complex customer feedback into structured, repeatable architectures that align with our long-term platform vision. By championing solutions that solve critical needs and advance our platform's capabilities, you will serve as a key technical consultant in roadmap discussions, ensuring our innovation is deeply rooted in the customer experience.

This role is ideal for a collaborative and entrepreneurial individual with a product-centric mindset, proven experience in delivering scalable SaaS solutions, and a passion for playing a direct role in evolving a platform's capabilities to meet both customer and market needs.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales Engineering, Implementation, Customer Success) to identify and assess enhancement opportunities that improve adoption, expand use cases, and close market/product gaps.
  • Design and propose scalable, repeatable technical architectures for new platform features and enhancements, ensuring they align with long-term system sustainability and enterprise readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate prospect and customer feedback into structured enhancement proposals and architectural recommendations.
  • Serve as a technical consultant and reviewer for high-impact enhancement requests, bringing a product-wide perspective to prioritisation and feasibility assessments.
  • Drive solution design for non-standard and advanced customer needs, ensuring proposals are future-proof and align with platform architecture principles.
  • Help standardise approaches for handling common enhancement requests, identifying patterns and reusable components that contribute to platform maturity.
  • Influence product direction by contributing technical insights into roadmap discussions, prioritisation frameworks, and design validation.
  • Assist in early-stage design review of product capabilities to ensure market fit, scalability, and readiness across different customer segments.
  • Collaborate with implementation and success teams to ensure enhancements are delivered efficiently and with minimal risk to customer experience.
  • Create clear technical documentation, solution templates, and architecture patterns that can be leveraged across the organisation.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering and designing scalable SaaS or enterprise software solutions, preferably in HCM, Talent, or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS/ATS ecosystems and deep familiarity with systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Taleo, or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in API integrations, data modelling, solution design, and systems architecture—particularly using technologies such as JSON, SQL, ETL, Python, or REST APIs.
  • Proven ability to design and propose technical solutions that meet both customer requirements and long-term platform scalability.
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to assess feasibility, influence roadmap prioritisation, and align feature design with real-world requirements.
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for product improvement, technical rigour, and continuous innovation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit—comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered platforms or experience in AI solution design is a plus.
