Are you a strategic EHS leader with a passion for safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement?

We're working with a leading manufacturing client who is looking for an experienced
EHS Manager
to drive compliance, culture, and performance across multiple operational sites.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Champion a strong EHS culture through visible leadership and engagement.
  • Promote Zero Harm and behavioural safety initiatives like Safe Start.
  • Ensure compliance with UK/EU legislation and corporate EHS standards.
  • Develop and deliver EHS improvement plans and performance strategies.
  • Lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Collaborate across sites to share best practices and drive consistency.
  • Coach and train teams to build EHS capability at all levels.
  • Represent the business in Safety Councils and with external regulators.


What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • ISO 14001 certification.
  • IOSH membership or certification.
  • Proven experience in a
    senior EHS role within manufacturing
    .
  • Strong knowledge of UK and EU EHS legislation.
  • Skilled in audits, investigations, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable:

  • ISO 45001 and/or ISO 9001 certification.
  • Environmental or sustainability-related qualifications.
  • Experience in multi-site or international operations.
  • Familiarity with digital EHS systems and data analytics.
  • Background in integrating EHS with quality and operational excellence.
