Role Description
We are seeking a
skilled ServiceNow Developer
for a
full-time hybrid role
based in the
London area
, with flexibility for remote work.
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in the ongoing
development, configuration, and maintenance
of an enterprise-level ServiceNow platform. You'll design and implement custom solutions, automate workflows, and enhance user experiences while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that ServiceNow integrates seamlessly with business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Development & Scripting:
- Write, test, and deploy
client-side
(Client Scripts, UI Policies) and
server-side
(Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions) scripts using
JavaScript/Glide
. - Build and maintain
Service Catalog items
, including complex variable configurations and advanced workflows. - Utilise
low-code tools
like
Flow Designer
to automate and streamline business processes.
Configuration & Customisation:
- Design and enhance user interfaces, including creating and maintaining
custom Service Portal widgets
. - Configure new modules, tables, and applications in alignment with platform best practices.
Maintenance & Quality Assurance:
- Manage
Update Sets
to migrate configurations and code between development, test, and production environments. - Participate in testing activities and assist with platform upgrades.
- Perform routine administration tasks such as user management, data imports, and ACL configuration.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the
ServiceNow Product Owner
and technical teams to refine requirements and propose effective solutions. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of
hands-on experience
developing within the
ServiceNow platform
. - Strong foundation in
Computer Science concepts
,
Software Development
, and
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
. - Proven experience in
ServiceNow configuration, customization, and scripting
. - Familiarity with
ITIL processes
and
Agile delivery
methodologies. - Excellent
problem-solving
,
analytical
, and
communication skills
. - Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Engineering
, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
