Role Overview

City Explorer is seeking a Managing Director Assistant for a Go To Market role. This position supports the Managing Director in market research, launch preparation, user acquisition, and operational coordination. It is suited for candidates with strong analytical ability and an interest in product positioning, customer discovery, market expansion, competitor analysis.

Responsibilities


• Assist the Managing Director in planning and executing Go To Market strategies


• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user insights reports


• Support the development of launch plans for new products, features, and territories


• Assist in defining customer segments, value propositions, and messaging


• Collect and analyse performance indicators for campaigns and market tests


• Coordinate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment


• Support the preparation of sales and partnership materials


• Support the organisation of outreach activities for Explorers and Bizplorers

Requirements


• Strong analytical and organisational skills


• Interest or experience in market research, product launches, or business strategy


• Ability to analyse data and interpret market trends


• Skilled in using research, presentation, and reporting tools


• Understanding of digital platforms and user behaviour


• Able to work on site in Hayes (UB3 4DX) from 08:00 to 17:00


• Must have the legal right to live and work full time in the United Kingdom


• City Explorer does not provide sponsorships, visas, or work permits

Progression

This is a six month internship. High performing interns may be considered for a full time position within the organisation after the internship.
