Role Overview

City Explorer is seeking a Managing Director Assistant to support the Managing Director in daily operations, team coordination, technical processes, marketing activities, and creative output. This role is suited for candidates with a strong IT background and an interest in people management, platform operations, digital advertising, analytics, and graphic design.

Responsibilities


• Assist the Managing Director with operational planning and coordination


• Support the coordination of team members across different departments


• Assist in monitoring individual performance and preparing feedback


• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff related administrative tasks


• Support the management of Meta advertising campaigns


• Assist with reviewing and interpreting advertisement performance data


• Prepare analytics reports using GA4 and Looker Studio


• Support workflow improvements, documentation, and internal organisation


• Assist the internal technical team in identifying platform bugs, documenting issues, and reporting them clearly


• Support platform testing and provide structured feedback


• Provide support in coordinating tasks involving Explorers and Bizplorers


• Assist in creating social media and marketing materials using graphic design tools

Requirements


• Strong IT, technical, and management background


• Interest or experience in Meta advertising management


• Ability to understand and evaluate advertisement performance data


• Proficiency in GA4 or strong willingness to learn


• Skilled in graphic design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator


• Ability to coordinate people and tasks across multiple departments


• Strong organisational and analytical skills


• Clear communication and attention to detail


• Able to work on site in Hayes (UB3 4DX) from 08:00 to 17:00


• Must have the legal right to live and work full time in the United Kingdom


• City Explorer does not provide sponsorships, visas, or work permits

Progression

This is a six month internship. High performing interns may be considered for a full time position within the organisation after the internship.
