Key Responsibilities of the Year 5 Teacher:
- Planning and delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum to Year 5 pupils, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of all learners and encouraging individual progress.
- Creating an engaging and positive classroom environment where Year 5 students feel confident, valued, and motivated to participate.
- Developing literacy and numeracy skills through interactive, well-structured lessons that foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Supporting students' social and emotional development, helping them build strong relationships and develop resilience.
- Monitoring and assessing Year 5 pupils' progress, providing feedback, and maintaining open communication with parents to support each child's growth.
