Job Overview
At Mr Cambrays Curiosity we are seeking an enthusiastic Event & Sales Assistant to join our team to generate leads, take enquires, support the planning and execution of various events. Events can range from Bottomless Brunches, Afternoon Teas, Private Parties (Birthdays, Engagements, Hen Parties etc) & Corporate Events.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, booking, preparing & ensuring that the execution of all events run smoothly and successfully to meet our customers wants and needs for their event.
Duties
- Organise bookings and sales enquires
Create and sell bespoke event packages
Support other areas of the team with food and drink prep for bookings & events.
Support event staff with tasks during events
Social Media campaigns
Contribute to the overall success of events by providing assistance where needed
Experience
- Previous experience in event planning or customer service is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive and positive attitude towards work
A creative and enthusiastic approach to generate custom
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
