Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic
Account Executive (AE)
to lead business development and customer growth across the
United Kingdom
and
European markets
, with a focus on the
Ministry of Defense (MoD)
, the
space sector
, and
commercial enterprises
.
This role combines relationship-building, strategic sales, and market development. The successful candidate will identify opportunities where
Craxel's Black Forest platform
— delivering instant, cryptographically secure, fully connected data for analytics and AI can help transform decision-making, mission readiness, and innovation across defense, space, and commercial domains.
You will engage senior stakeholders across the
UK MoD
,
European Space Agency (ESA)
,
national space programs
, and major
aerospace and defense primes
, driving partnerships that accelerate data modernization and secure AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute
a go-to-market strategy for the UK defense, space, and commercial markets, aligned with Craxel's global growth objectives. - Build trusted relationships
across UK MoD, Defence Digital, Strategic Command, Front Line Commands, ESA, UK Space Agency, EUMETSAT, and key European defense and space integrators. - Identify, qualify, and manage
strategic opportunities leveraging Craxel's technology in secure data platforms, AI enablement, and mission analytics. - Lead the full sales lifecycle
from initial prospecting and customer engagement to proposal development, negotiation, and close. - Collaborate closely
with Craxel's technical, engineering, and marketing teams to design demonstrations and proofs-of-concept aligned with mission needs. - Represent Craxel
at industry events, defense and space innovation forums, and trade shows across the UK and Europe. - Develop account and territory plans
, ensuring accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. - Contribute
to Craxel's European growth strategy, helping to identify local partners, channels, and ecosystem opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in
enterprise technology
,
defense and space business development
, or
government sales
within the UK and/or Europe. - Proven track record driving complex, multi-stakeholder deals with the
UK MoD
,
ESA
, or major aerospace and defense organizations. - Strong understanding of
UK and European defense procurement
frameworks, innovation pathways (e.g., DASA, ESA Business Incubation, EDA, Horizon Europe), and key industry players. - Existing network across
defense
,
space
, and
critical infrastructure sectors
. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage complex accounts, and thrive in a
fast-paced startup environment
. - Background in
data infrastructure
,
cybersecurity
,
AI/ML
, or
cloud-native technologies
. - Experience with
US DoD
,
NATO
, or
Five Eyes
defense collaboration environments. - Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related technical field (advanced degree a plus)
