Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for the establishment of A-13 and ECSCU Quality Management System to meet the developing project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the overall project management system development schedule
  • Facilitate the documentation and establishment of project quality processes/procedures in accordance with the agreed schedule
  • Liaise with project functional heads to help establish quality processes
  • Review potential suppliers for their capability to meet quality requirements
  • Accept suppliers and nominated teams as being capable of meeting project quality requirements
  • Monitor and manage the establishment of Quality Management systems being
  • established by the Dragados team and the interface with the supply chain
  • Manage the projects integrated audit process to a schedule accepted by the Systems & Assurance Manager and the Project Manager
  • Establish Quality KPIs in line with Project requirements
  • Establish through the Dragados team the progressive compilation of quality records
  • Undertake internal and supply chain audits in line with the Project Audit Schedule
  • Undertake witnessing or observation of supply chain quality activities
  • Liaise with and manage the close-out of Dragados SA Quality issues
  • Maintain audit related and quality management registers in liaison with the Information Management team and report on progress on a regular basis
  • Establish software solutions for the quality assurance/control management in liaison with the information management team
  • Liaise with Environmental and Safety departments to facilitate an integrated approach to project management systems
  • Provide training or advice as deemed necessary to facilitate the above
  • Assist in Dragados pre-qualification and bid activities as requested

Qualifications, Certifications & Experience

  • The role will require the post holder to have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal and to be able to report at management level.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a construction, engineering or related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a similar quality management system related role including responsibility for deploying project or corporate management systems to ISO 9001:2008 or similar.
  • CQI Practitioner (PCQI) or above
  • Able to work as part of a team.
