About The Role/school
Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Leyton who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA to join their supportive team. The school has a strong reputation for its nurturing environment, high expectations, and commitment to supporting pupils with additional learning needs.

As an SEN TA, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide tailored support for children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN TA or someone passionate about helping all children achieve their full potential.

Job Responsibilities

As An SEN TA, Your Duties Will Include
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.

Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation.

Helping children with their social, emotional, and academic development.

Supporting the implementation of individual learning plans and EHCP targets.

Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils with special educational needs.

Supporting with phonics and literacy activities as directed by the teacher.

Qualifications/Experience
To be successful as an SEN TA, you should have:

Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (SEND experience desirable)

A patient, caring, and proactive attitude

Good communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

Right to work in the UK
