You will be part of the Early Help service reporting to the Children with Disabilities Lead with strong links to the Family Help and EHCP teams.
The roleWe are seeking a Team Manager for our Children with Disabilities Hub, overseeing a group of committed Family Support Workers and Social Workers. This is a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality, child-centred support for families navigating the complexities of disability.
As Team Manager, you will:
- Provide strong, reflective management and supervision to a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality assessments, plans, and interventions.
- Champion the rights and needs of children with disabilities and their families.
- Oversee the provision of short breaks and other support services, ensuring they are accessible, inclusive, and responsive.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver integrated support.

You will be:
- An experienced manager with extensive and relevant experience, in disability and children's services.
- Knowledgeable about relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989/2004, the SEND Code of Practice, and the Care Act 2014.
- Experienced in managing or supervising staff within a social care setting.
- Skilled in working with families with complex needs, demonstrating empathy, resilience, and solution-focused thinking.
- Passionate about inclusion, equity, and improving outcomes for children with disabilities.
