About the Opportunity

We are seeking an
experienced Director of Security
to lead the design, implementation, and governance of security programs across advanced technology environments — including
AI, blockchain, and cloud
. This is a
strategic, high-impact leadership role
suited to a security professional with deep technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to drive transformation across complex digital ecosystems.

The Role

As
Director of Security
, you'll define and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies across diverse platforms, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory frameworks. You'll be responsible for leading teams, managing risks, and implementing advanced controls to safeguard infrastructure, data, and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement enterprise-wide security strategies across AI, blockchain, and cloud environments.
  • Establish robust security frameworks and governance aligned with
    ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC2
    standards.
  • Lead
    incident response
    ,
    risk management
    , and
    threat modeling
    initiatives.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a world-class security and compliance team.
  • Safeguard AI models, training data, and ML pipelines from data poisoning, model theft, and adversarial attacks.
  • Apply privacy-preserving techniques such as
    encryption, anonymization, and federated learning
    .
  • Oversee smart contract security audits, on-chain monitoring, and protocol risk assessment.
  • Protect digital assets across
    wallets, custody solutions
    , and
    exchange mechanisms
    .
  • Collaborate with external partners on
    bug bounty programs and protocol testing
    .
  • Strengthen cloud and container security across
    AWS, Azure, and GCP
    environments.
  • Integrate
    security by design
    into product and software development lifecycles (SSDLC).
  • Enhance
    DevSecOps
    pipelines and enforce zero-trust network principles.
  • Ensure compliance with
    GDPR, SOC2, PCI-DSS
    , and crypto-specific regulations.
  • Manage third-party risk assessments and security reviews.
  • Partner with legal and compliance functions to implement
    KYC/AML
    safeguards.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 15+ years
    of progressive experience in
    Information Security
    , with at least
    7–8 years in Cybersecurity leadership
    roles.
  • Proven success in developing and executing
    cybersecurity strategies
    and managing large security programs.
  • Deep expertise in
    blockchain protocols, smart contracts (Solidity, Rust), cryptography
    , and secure custody systems.
  • Strong understanding of
    cloud security
    ,
    DevSecOps
    , and
    secure software development
    practices.
  • Experience in
    AI/ML security
    , including model integrity and data protection.
  • Preferred certifications:
    CISSP, CISM, CISA, OSCP, CEH, CCSK
    , or
    Blockchain Security certifications
    .
