The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a progressive construction business delivering high-quality housing and mixed-use schemes across the Central region.

You'll manage 3–4 live projects, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. You'll guide site teams through all stages — from pre-construction through to handover — ensuring programme, budget, and quality targets are achieved.

Role Overview

As a Contracts Manager, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of multiple residential and refurbishment projects.
  • Manage project planning, cost, and contract performance.
  • Conduct regular site reviews and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to the Operations Director.
  • Build strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Drive team performance and foster a culture of accountability and improvement.
  • Support new business activity and contribute to tender and pre-construction planning.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within contracting.
  • Residential / housing background essential.
  • Track record of longevity and progression within previous employers.
  • Strong understanding of commercial management, programming, and client liaison.
  • Experienced in leading multiple concurrent projects.
  • Full UK driving license with flexibility to travel regionally.
