The Role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in improving how technology supports our business. You'll work closely with stakeholders to analyse processes, define requirements, and deliver system enhancements that drive operational efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs
- Translate requirements into clear documentation including functional specs and use cases
- Process Evaluation & Improvement
- Analyse existing workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies
- Recommend and support automation, integration, and optimisation initiatives
- System Implementation & Support
- Assist in selecting, configuring, testing, and deploying new systems
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve system-related issues
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a bridge between business units, IT teams, and external vendors
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and present solutions
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of system changes and process updates
- Create dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Training & Change Management
- Support user training and adoption of new systems
- Contribute to change management plans to ensure smooth transitions
