Business Support Manager

Key Responsibilities
As our Business Support Manager, you will:
- Support the effective delivery and administration of business support programmes.
- Attend and manage regular events, ensuring smooth delivery. Responsibilities include planning, coordination, on-site support, and post-event follow-up.
- Engage with local businesses to understand their challenges, needs, and ambitions.
- Be the first point of contact for all business enquiries via website, webchat, phone, email, and in person.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to understand individual business needs.
- Provide clear, accurate guidance, signposting, and information to clients.
- Record all interactions promptly and accurately using the CRM system, including when working remotely or offsite.
- Refer appropriate enquiries to partner organisations and ensure follow-up actions are carried out.
- Keep resource materials and signposting information up to date and relevant.
- Maintain a strong, current understanding of available business support programmes and services.
About You

- Proven experience in a business support or customer service role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence in using CRM systems and handling multiple communication channels.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- The ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- A solid understanding of the business support landscape (desirable, but not essential).
