Gather is a coaching-led fitness community in Greenwich. We help people get stronger, fitter and more confident without the pressure or ego found in most gyms. Our approach is simple. Small group personal training, accountability and a friendly environment where people enjoy showing up.
What the job involves
Coaching – 20–25 hours per week:
- Coaching Small Group PT and classes
- Running intro sessions and onboarding new members
- Teaching movement basics and helping members feel confident
- Keeping a friendly, safe and positive training environment
Sales and member growth – 15–20 hours per week:
- Making sales calls and booking intro appointments
- Running consultations and recommending the right membership options
- Following up with leads and managing the CRM
- Tracking enquiries, trials, conversions and retention
- Working with the team to hit monthly growth targets
Other responsibilities:
- Creating simple content for social media
- Supporting member retention through check-ins and great service
- Helping keep the gym clean, tidy and organised
- Attending weekly team meetings and training
- We need someone who can reliably get to/from North Greenwich for a 6:15am weekday start, as early sessions are an essential part of the role.
Salary and benefits
- £30,000 per year during a 3-month probationary period
- £35,000 per year after successful completion of probation
- Discretionary performance-based annual bonus
- 28 days paid holiday per year (including bank holidays)
