Role Overview:
As a Cleaner at Kings Gyms, you'll ensure all areas of the club are spotless, safe, and ready for use. You'll take pride in keeping the facility in top condition, helping to create a clean and motivating environment where our members can train at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the club, including:
Gym floor, free weights, and functional training areas
- Studios, changing rooms, showers, and toilets
- Reception, offices, and member social spaces
- Carry out regular cleaning and sanitisation of all gym equipment and high-contact surfaces.
- Complete cleaning schedules and checklists accurately and on time.
- Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
- Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Work efficiently to ensure the club is always clean, tidy, and presentable — especially during peak times.
- Support the team in setting up and maintaining equipment before and after events.
- Uphold all health, safety, and COSHH procedures.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous cleaning experience within a gym, leisure, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with pride in maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
- Positive attitude and professional approach when interacting with members and staff.
Working Hours & Conditions:
- Flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Uniform and all cleaning materials provided.
