We're partnering with a leading facilities management organisation to recruit a
Solutions Manager
who will play a pivotal role in shaping client solutions, driving innovation, and supporting strategic growth across new and existing contracts nationwide.

This is a high-impact position at the centre of the company's growth strategy — ideal for someone who thrives on influencing direction, designing value-led solutions, and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of compelling client solutions, ensuring they are innovative, commercially robust, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in project delivery, supporting bid and sales teams on complex tenders and proposals.
  • Develop win strategies for new opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, enhancements, and engagement programmes with key clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate emerging technologies, sustainability initiatives, and digital tools into solution design.
  • Support the resolution of live delivery issues and contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practice sharing.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients at senior levels, promoting a positive, customer-focused culture.
  • Contribute to programme plans, business cases, and long-term investment strategies.
  • Drive collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams to embed strategic initiatives and strengthen delivery capability.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in a
    Solutions Manager
    ,
    Consultant
    , or
    Account Management
    role within project delivery or facilities management.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, delivery processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Skilled at engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to varied audiences.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a matrix environment and embed strategic initiatives into business-as-usual operations.
  • Experience developing high-level programme plans and supporting multi-year client investments.
  • Graduate-level technical understanding of the built environment.
  • Ability to translate client feedback into actionable, value-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrable track record of contributing to revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and digital transformation in project delivery.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a Centre of Excellence or innovation function.
  • Background in developing value propositions and facilitating senior-level solution workshops.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. RICS, APM, CIOB) are advantageous but not essential.
