The Role:

We are recruiting a Public Health Practitioner (Business Support) to join our Public Health Team at Liverpool City Council.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with excellent programme management skills to be a member of the Public Health Team.

The role of Public Health Practitioner (Business Support) will provide an opportunity for people who already have experience in business support, governance, commissioning, sector led improvement, risk managements and business continuity within local authority settings and are interested in applying their skills to public health

The post holder will lead on ensuring that robust governance, compliance, and monitoring arrangements are in place across the Public Health portfolio. Working closely with commissioners, they will provide strategic oversight and leadership to ensure value for money and support positive behaviour change aligned with Public Health and Liverpool City Council priorities.
