Little Acres Day Nursery and Pre-School are currently recruiting for a Nursery Lunch Time Assistant working 11:00-3:00pm Monday to Friday, with experience of working with children ages 0-5 Years. Open 51 weeks of the year.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team as lunch time assistants. You will work within the rooms over the lunch time period covering staff lunch breaks. The ideal candidates will have a sound knowledge of hygiene practices and be willing to undertake food hygiene and safeguarding training.

Your role as Nursery assistant/lunch cover will include:

* Possessing a thorough knowledge of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements and effectively implementing these

* Ensuring the nursery offers an environment which reflects the cultural diversity of all children.

* Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues

* Promoting positive engagement and interactions at all times

* Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times

* Adhering to all nursery policies and procedures at all times

* Committing to updating training and attending courses as required

You may have experience of the following: Childcare Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, Play worker, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Early Years Educator.

Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken. Therefore, it is essential in making your application you disclose whether you have any pending charges, convictions, bind-overs or cautions and, if so, for which offences. This post will be exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
