Collections Consultant

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences while driving results? As a Collections Consultant, you'll play a vital role in managing our consumer customer base, focusing on proactive debt management and maximising cash collections. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Salary – Up to £25,200 per annum dependant on experience
Location – Hull, Carr Lane, 2 days minimum office based

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of your customer portfolio, ensuring targets and SLAs are consistently met.
- Monitor customer payment behaviours and act swiftly to prevent debt.
- Proactively engage with customers regarding late payments, creating win-win solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Analyse account histories to recommend appropriate actions, including debt write-offs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a unified approach to collections.
- Conduct credit checks on new customers to safeguard long-term profitability.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in collections or finance customer service is preferred, but not essential – we value potential and attitude
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- No formal qualifications required – just bring your drive and commitment
