I am excited to be working with a number of Primary Schools in the Weston-Super-Mare area who are keen to invite candidates who are aspiring teachers to join their teams. These schools are keen to support you with your professional development and experience within a school setting. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is studying at present or would like to explore the world of Primary Schools. 

You will be able to work as a HLTA, Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.

The Role 

This opportunity is great for you if you are looking for flexible working hours. 

This could be part-time or full-time work, working all day, mornings or afternoons. 

You will need to have some experience working with children and have a flexible approach to supporting a variety of children of different ages. 

You will be expected to: 

  • Support Class Teachers with the whole class, small groups or individuals. 
  • Support SEND children on a 1 to 1 basis. 
  • Deliver pre-planned interventions with small groups of children. 
  • Support with Behaviour Management. 
  • If confident - cover pre-planned lessons for the whole class.
