Position Overview

Cosmos International College is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified
Academic Head
to lead its Cambridge A Level program. The ideal candidate will be a
native English speaker
with a strong academic background in English Literature, proven teaching experience in Cambridge AS & A2 programs, and excellent leadership skills to manage a
British-standard school catering to students aged 4 to 17
.

This role requires balancing academic excellence with student engagement, parent relations, faculty management, and institutional branding.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

●      Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and delivery of Cambridge A Level programs.

●      Mentor and guide faculty to maintain high teaching standards and student outcomes.

●      Monitor academic performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Teaching

●      Teach
English General Paper (EGP)
at AS & A2 Level, focusing on critical thinking, writing, and communication.

●      Design and deliver innovative lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials.

Parent & Student Engagement

●      Maintain strong communication with parents regarding student progress and academic policies.

●      Provide counseling and academic guidance to students for university readiness.

Institutional Growth & Branding

●      Collaborate with management to promote the college's academic strengths and reputation.

●      Support in organizing seminars, workshops, and outreach programs for branding and community engagement.

Team Building & Management

●      Lead, motivate, and support faculty and staff to create a collaborative academic environment.

●      Conduct regular meetings to align departmental objectives with institutional goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

●      Native English-speaking background.

●      Bachelor's or Master's degree in
English Literature
from a recognised university (UK preferred)

●      Minimum
2–3 years of teaching experience
in Cambridge AS & A2 programs (
English General Paper required
).

●      Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

●      Proven experience in
parent engagement, marketing, and branding
.

●      Demonstrated ability to
build and manage effective teams
.
