Care Assistant

Hours: 38.5 hours per week plus handover – day shifts
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent
At Ashfield Nursing Home, we're proud to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment. We're looking for a friendly and compassionate Day Care Assistant to join our team and help make every day a positive and comfortable experience for our residents.
What You'll Do:- Provide personal care and support to residents with daily routines such as washing, dressing, and mealtimes.
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for each individual.
- Engage residents in social activities and conversation to enhance their day.
- Assist with mobility and ensure residents' safety and comfort at all times.
- Keep accurate records and promptly report any changes in residents' health or mood.
- Work closely with nurses and other team members to deliver exceptional care.
- A caring, patient, and reliable person who genuinely enjoys helping others.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous care experience is an advantage but not essential – full training is provided.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
