Day Care Assistant – Full-Time (38.5 hours per week)

Location: Ashfield Nursing Home

Hours: 38.5 hours per week plus handover – day shifts

Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience)

Contract: Permanent

What You'll Do:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents with daily routines such as washing, dressing, and mealtimes.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for each individual.
  • Engage residents in social activities and conversation to enhance their day.
  • Assist with mobility and ensure residents' safety and comfort at all times.
  • Keep accurate records and promptly report any changes in residents' health or mood.
  • Work closely with nurses and other team members to deliver exceptional care.
What We're Looking For:
  • A caring, patient, and reliable person who genuinely enjoys helping others.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous care experience is an advantage but not essential – full training is provided.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
