  • 1 Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing outstanding patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the efficient operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dental Nurse, you will:

  • Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by welcoming patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
  • Manage the sterilisation of instruments and ensure cleanliness in treatment areas to meet health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, oral hygiene instructions, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and high standards of care within the practice.
  • Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and processing billing as required.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Qualified Dental Nurse with experience in assisting with dental implants.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally.
  • A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering a positive experience for all patients.
  • Familiarity with dental procedures and terminology is advantageous but not mandatory. A willingness to learn is essential.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Potential for salary increases based on performance and skill development.

Working Schedule

  • Hours: Full-time, Day shift from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Thursday.
  • No Weekends required.
  • Contract: Temporary to permanent, with a 12-month contract length.
