: £50,000–£100,000 + Commission + Bonuses.
Westminster Security Ltd, a leading London-based private security company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development / Commercial Manager with a strong track record in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This is a pivotal role in our growth strategy, working at the forefront of both commercial development and strategic acquisition opportunities within the private security sector and support services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a major part in expanding our business through strategic acquisitions, commercial partnerships, and contract development. You will identify market opportunities, support high-level negotiations, and drive growth through M&A and contract tendering.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage M&A strategy and initiatives from identification through to integration.
Conduct market research and financial analysis to support business decisions.
Build strong commercial relationships with potential clients, companies, and key stakeholders.
Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial contracts for security services (predominantly close protection and residential security guarding).
Lead and support bid writing, tenders, proposals, and procurement submissions end to end.
Present business cases and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
Support broader business development projects to enhance profitability and services.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, with demonstrable and verifiable success in previous roles.
Business development or commercial management experience, ideally within the private security sector or a closely related industry.
Degree educated (Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline required).
Experience in tendering, bid writing, government or commercial procurement processes is highly desirable.
Strong financial acumen and analytical ability.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
UK-based and within short commutable distance to London (Greater London / Home Counties), with willingness to travel internationally when required.
