As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving company with plenty of room for career progression.
Due to internal development, we are now recruiting a Maintenance Manager to oversee a team of maintenance engineers and skilled tradespeople. This role is a key support for our back of house function. Ideally, you will have previous experience within housing or property maintenance with effective communication & interpersonal skills.
Duties will include:
The undertaking of planned preventative maintenance tasks as well as reactive repairs to all manner of building services equipment including kitchen appliances, plumbing and electrics. The following list is not exhaustive:
- Managing and coaching a team of engineers
- Correctly resourcing the department, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time with the right equipment for success
- Scheduling tradespeople and contractors
- Assuming all health and safety protocols are adhered to for the department
- Coordinating team members, monitoring and reporting on productivity
- Supporting colleagues with their workload
- Placing orders for replacement items
- Budgeting and cost control
- Motivating, engaging, training and developing a team
Skills required include:
- A minimum of 3 years in a Maintenance Manager role before
- All round proven experience in general maintenance repairs, white goods repairs, plumbing, electrical and carpentry
- Knowledge of Air conditioning systems
- Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
