What You Will Be Doing
Vertex's Legal Summer Internship offers an immersive experience for students interested in corporate law, compliance, and the biopharmaceutical industry. Interns will work alongside experienced legal professionals on real-world projects, gaining exposure to legal research, contract review, regulatory frameworks, and strategic legal decision-making. This internship is designed to build foundational legal skills and provide insight into how legal teams support innovation and patient impact.

During your Summer Internship you will get the opportunity to learn about our industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Interns can expect to be challenged by their work, connect with other students, and feel valued by the Vertex community.

What you will need to succeed:

• Currently studying a relevant university qualification
• Have a strong interest in working in the Legal function within a Biotechnology company
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Highly motivated
• Excellent team working and collaborative skills
• You must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from1st June to 7th August 2026
