Payroll System Tester

We're looking for a Payroll Systems Tester to join our HR Shared Services team based in Rushden.
Location
: Flexible on Location - hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 1-2 Days per week
Hours
: 37.5 hours per week - 9 Months Fixed Term Contract - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Payroll Systems Tester, you'll be working within the HR Shared Services team, supporting them in ensuring system changes, enhancements, and integrations are rigorously tested and validated to support accurate and compliant payroll operations.
Your Day To Day Will Include
- Supporting testing for Oracle payroll change requests and critical updates
- Developing and executing test scripts and documenting UAT scenarios
- Collaborating with IT, Unisys, and payroll teams to ensure system changes meet requirements
- Acting as a point of contact for Oracle HR/payroll queries and providing SME advice
- Maintaining payroll documentation and improving data quality and governance

- You have hands-on experience in complex payroll testing and Oracle EBS payroll systems
- You're knowledgeable in UK payroll legislation and end-to-end payroll processes
- You're detail-oriented, collaborative, and confident working independently and cross-functionally
