Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible hours. Must be able to work every other weekend.

Your Role as a Care Assistant As a Care Assistant, you'll help clients live safely, independently, and with dignity. Every visit is an opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting personal care such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assisting with meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional needs
  • Providing medication reminders and monitoring health needs
  • Supporting mobility, including walking aids, transfers, or hoists
  • Offering companionship, emotional support, and reassurance
  • Helping with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and tidying to maintain a safe environment
  • Accurately recording care activities, noting changes, and reporting concerns
  • Encouraging clients to engage in hobbies, appointments, or community activities to maintain independence
