Role Description

This is an on-site temporary role for a Counterbalance Forklift Operator located in Middlesbrough. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, handling materials, loading and unloading shipments, and assisting with packing tasks. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and effective organization to ensure smooth warehouse and logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Forklift Operation, including the safe and efficient use of counterbalance forklifts
  • Experience in Shipping & Receiving workflows and processes
  • Skills in Material Handling and Unloading, ensuring the safe and organized movement of goods
  • Competence in Packing and preparing items for delivery or storage
  • Strong attention to safety and the ability to follow required safety guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Valid forklift operator certification is required
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus
