On behalf of our client, a supplier of truly sustainable products manufactured from recycled plastic, we are recruiting for Operative with FLT Counterbalance license in Middlesbrough.

**The Role**

Your role as an Operative will be to support Production department. This will be 30% FLT duties (if one is held) and 70% manual work which is quite physical.

Main duties will include:

- Once production is complete, you will be required to take all the casings off the sleepers ready for removal.
- Using the FLT to taker sleepers from the manufacturing bays.
- Using the system to scan an item and check for faults including foreign objects or metal inside the sleepers.
- Relacing the casings ready for the next batch
- Removing the sleepers from the machines and taking them to an area where the excess needs to be cut of the ends using power tools.
- Additionally you may assist with the cutting of the sleepers that have quality defects and need a percentage of them cutting so they can salvage the other 80% of the product, this would be using a band saw.

**Hours**

Rotating on a fortnightly basis
- Week 1 - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 7am-7pm - 36 hours
- Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 7pm-7am - 48 hours

£10.28 per hour for the first 42 hours then time and ½ for any additional hours completed.

**Important Bits**
- Will hold a FLT Counterbalance license with a minimum of 20 hours use - happy to consider recently expired or in house license. (You must have a copy of the document or card for checking)
- Be ok with physical and manual work.
- Be flexible to workdays and nights.
- Can get to Middlesbrough TS2 area.
- Ideally have some experience with using power tools
- Ideally hold a valid FLT Counterbalance License.
- Temp to perm
