Interim Finance Manager | Rapidly Scaling Online Marketplace | 6 Month Contract

Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading online marketplace organisations who are looking for an Interim Finance Manager on a 6 month contract.

The Company

Renowned for their fantastic, dynamic, non-corporate workplace culture, our client has shown grown over 100% over the last 3 years and are looking to increase turnover by circa 25% this year. They operate a hybrid set-up with circa 2-3 days in office and the remaining days from home.

This role reports directly into the CFO and is a fantastic opportunity for an all-round strong accountant to support an expanding organisation that have grown organically in their growth journey and expansion plans.

The Role

There is a finance team of 4 in this well-established function and this role will report directly into the CFO. This a broad role that involves a hybrid between Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and supporting with Budgets/Forecasts. The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW/CA or equivalent) who has a good breadth of experience covering financial and management accounting.

The Duties

  • Support the business through successful audit process.
  • Work closely with the broader finance team building out the budgets and forecasts.
  • Providing support producing the monthly management accounts and relevant analysis.
  • Evaluate and suggest process improvements throughout the finance function.
  • Produce accurate financial accounts.
  • Produce multi-currency consolidations of accounts.
  • Ad-hoc duties to support the CFO and finance team.

What we need to see (essential):

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CA or equivalent)
  • Experience with multi-currency consolidations
