Deputy Care Manager – Children's Residential Home (Ofsted)

We're now looking for a Deputy Care Manager to join our team in Preston, supporting children and young people with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioural needs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our Ofsted-registered home
  • Lead, coach and motivate a dedicated team of support workers
  • Champion person-centred care and high standards in safeguarding, behaviour support, and care planning
  • Build trusted relationships with families, professionals and external agencies
  • Help prepare for Ofsted inspections and ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Create a safe, positive home where children can grow in confidence and independence

About you:

  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Manager in an Ofsted-regulated children's home
  • Passionate about delivering person-centred care and achieving the best outcomes
  • Confident leader with strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management – Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
