Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow for group entities.
  • Take responsibility for month end processes for one of the group entities, investigating P&L variances and ensuring accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Partner with divisional teams to deliver financial insight that drives business performance.
  • Coordinate with the management accounts team to ensure accuracy in intercompany accounting and support group consolidations.
  • Contribute to statutory audit preparation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with credit control and, purchase ledger teams, as well as with senior management.

What we're looking for in Skills & Experience

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong management accounting experience.
  • Proven background in group reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using Sage 50 (Sage 200 desirable).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills — confident presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
